My first pair are over 5 years old with heavy use. There are similar shoes for less, but the construction & quality aren't the same. Don't let the price turn you off. They're worth it. I'm buying my second pair this evening....and I'm keeping the old ones figuring they still have another few years on them.

This was the last film for which Elvis was able to demand and receive a $1000000 salary. The relative lackluster box office performance of this movie, combined with his desire to do more serious, less commercial films, meant that studios were no longer willing to guarantee him a seven figure paycheck for his performance. The soundtrack songs were released as a music album in November 1967 to coincide with the film. The film songs were augmented by several non-film recordings, including the recent hit singles "Guitar Man" and "Big Boss Man".
